  • Snack Suggestions Form
    • A new snack poll form will be made specifically for snack suggestions
  • FBS Reach Out
    • Local Fargo company FBS has reached out to NDSU and wishes to get further involved with CS organizations
    • A meeting will be held with them to discuss potential for a future corp-talk
  • SIG Organization
    • Brandon is looking into creating SIG folders for organization, so SIG leaders can have folders for themselves to help organize
  • Snack Run
    • Gunnar, Carson, and Julia will do a snack run at Sam’s Club on Thursday, 13th at 6pm
  • Jean Appeal Discussion, Vote, and Decision
    • Discussion Topics
      • Idea of a wait period before reinstating Jean’s membership, as well as not allowing Jean to be present during Board Meetings
      • Idea of Jean making a public apology to the ACM / Q&A led by the Board and Jean
        • Time will be discussed with Jean via email
    • Vote Results
      • Vote Topic: Whether or not to let Jean back as a member of the ACM (time not specified)
        • Vote Result: 5 voters: 5-0 Board Vote in favor of letting Jean back as a member
      • Decision: Whether or not Jean is to make a public apology / Q&A session (time not specified)
        • Jean is required to make a public apology to the ACM some time during the current month (April)
      • Vote Topic: Whether or not Jean is to be admitted back as a member of the ACM after the current semester
        • Vote Result: 5 voters, 1 abtained: 4-0 Board Vote in favor of letting Jean back at start of next semester
    • Restrictions and repercussions:
      • Until next semester and after the public apology, Jean will only be allowed in the ACM room after hours for night shift ACM as long as their is a board member in the room
      • Jean will be allowed to lead the Byte-le Revamp currently as the Byte-le Revamp is currently no longer a part of SIG-Collab
      • Jean will not be allowed to be present in the room in other cases until next semester and after public apology
      • The Board will encourage Jean not to use the suggestions channel and google form, although this cannot fully be restricted
      • If further issues occur, Jean may face further restrictions and her membership can be suspended until her graduation
    • Jean will be informed of the voting results and next steps via email
  • National ACM Memberships
    • Carson will work on adding roles for the Board Members on the National ACM Memberships

Board TO DO:

  • Get food for ACM picnic (Carson)
  • Get materials for activities for picnic (All of Board)
  • Get snacks (Carson, Julia, Gunnar)
  • List for services and hardware in the ACM for meeting with Denton (Ian, with outside help)
  • Next Meeting: Discuss upcoming Byte-le Royale - when to do meetings, game ideas, seperate conference room, Byte-le Revamp’s current state, etc.
